Jefferson is the founder of the Democratic-Republican party and its first president. He is the star of the party.
Hamilton is the founder of the Federalist party and the most successful at getting his party's ideas put into policy with his work as Secretary of the Treasury under Washington. He has more long term influence than John Adams, who was elected President
Adams was the second president of the United States after Washington. He's a major figure in the Federalist party.
Marshall is a major Federalist, serving as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court for over 30 years. In fact, he was still serving on the court long after the Federalist party had disbanded.
Madison remains the protégé of Jefferson and the second-most important Democratic-Republican after him for this era.
Blackstone's work influences the rulings of Marshall, but he is a minor character and would probably be mentioned only in passing in a movie about this time period.
