In this section, you’re going to work in MLA documentation style. Using a graphic organizer, you will look at a sample summary of a passage from Martin Luther King’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail,” and then you will summarize on your own. You’ll cite a quoted section and a paraphrased section of a text.
Each summary will use the MLA style of documenting sources to credit the original source.
