Throughout the history of Texas, there have been many individuals who have made important contributions to the identity of Texas. The people of Texas are creative and innovative, and they contribute to American society in many ways.
Early Texans contributed in many ways, from fighting in the Texas Revolution to establishing the Republic of Texas, which helped strengthen the state. Whether they are called heroes or legends, they are unmistakably Texans.
