Animals also have behavioral adaptations. Animals are born with set behaviors called instincts in innate behaviors. Behavioral adaptations, like physical adaptations, are inherited traits. The behavior is coded in the animal’s DNA.
Migration and hibernation are two of the most common behavioral adaptations.
