Reflection: A reflection over a line, j, is a transformation in which each point of the original figure (pre-image) has an image that is the same distance from the line of reflection as the original point but is on the opposite side.
Translation: A translation is a transformation that slides every point of a figure the same distance in the same direction.
Rotation: A rotation is a transformation that moves every point around a fixed point (usually the origin). Rotations > 0 are counterclockwise. Rotations < 0 are clockwise.
