  1. In the "Introduction" tab, have "Balance Scales" displayed by selecting the option in the bottom left. Atoms of each element will appear on the left (reactants) and right (products) of each balance as coefficients are changed. Play with the three reactions, which can be selected at the top right.
  2. Select the "Balancing Game" tab. Complete Levels 1-3 to get the most practice out of the simulation. You may choose whether you want to be timed by turning the stopwatch "On" or "Off." You may do your work on a separate sheet of paper to help practice your approach to balancing equations.
