It is important to know what equipment to use in the chemistry laboratory. No doubt that as a student you have had experience doing lab work in other science classes. So let's see what you know. To begin, go to the website:

Chemistry Lab Equipment Quiz. Try your hand at the quiz about lab equipment. As you take the quiz, make note of any equipment with which you are unfamiliar and of any questions that you missed. After you have completed the quiz, in your notes, write down the name of the equipment that caused you to miss a question or that is just difficult for you to remember. As you complete the following activities, go back to your notes and write down uses and functions for the unfamiliar equipment.
