Levels of Organization

The diagram below uses a horse to illustrate the levels of organization from cell to organism.

Remember, cells make up tissues, tissues make up organs, organs make up organ systems, and organ systems make up an organism.

What about plants? Do plants have the same levels of organization that animals do? Do plants have organs and organ systems?

Plants are organisms, and they follow the same organizational scheme and have tissues, organs, and an organ system.
