The only way to create a lasting peace is for countries to reduce their military, have a right to determine their own governments, and create a multi-national organization.

Over one million Frenchmen died in the war, and most of our roads and factories were destroyed by the Germans. Germany must pay for what they have done to us.

If Germany is treated too harshly, I fear they will start another war, but the British want Germany to pay for all they have done and I’m running for re-election.
